I know I'm giving the Trails fandom very little credit here ... But I wonder if Act 3 would get as much hate if they just separated it an called it Act 3,4,5 instead of Act 3-A to 3-F, lmao.

Beat the story of Trails through Daybreak II yesterday ... Really happy that I had fun with this one and I'm now on board with the series again. Might have just played the first one in the wrong mood, or it's just genuinely the one title in the series I don't vibe with, but doesn't really matter.

This is the last kind of shit I wanted to see in Prime 4 😔 Really hope that's just tutorial bs and the main portion of the game is the lonely exploration game we know and love.

Damn, I actually got an A-rank in one chapter in Daybreak II. Forgot about a battle condition and now I'm one point away from SSS. Still got room of like 30+ points left but being so close to the final reward is annoying 😬Hope I can quickly make a report in the final chapter.

The announcement of that game is now way older as Oblivion was when Skyrim came out. Also the announcement is now about as old as Skyrim was when they made the announcement.

Hades really is a game that gets if you're deeper in. Unlocking all of the weapon aspects, slowly remembering which boons give you what and then being able to manipulate your build by rerolling and using keepsakes ... Also playing around with heat/fear. Most fun part of the game imo.

Finished the main story of Hades II. Returning to it after spending a lot of time in early access just made me blaze through all of the runs ... Felt really easy. Now I'm curious about all the fear modifactions. I used some fear here and there, but never went beyond like 6.

Playing Daybreak II without a guide was the right decision I think. I was too worried about missables and reaching the highest rank, but in this game in particular it seems to be pretty easy to get S-ranks in every chapter. It's just way less annoying to not look into a guide all the time.

Beat the surface boss for the first time in Hades II (tried him once or twice in Early Access but bounced off because I wanted to wait for 1.0 at that point) and that felt pretty good. The surface is definitely way harder than the underground. It's great to have these two routes!

Finally went back to Hades II and it's really fun again. But is it just me or did it become a bit easier since early access?

I honestly kinda like how they took the constant deus ex machina moments in the Trails games and made them a proper plotpoint in Daybreak II. Plot armor is easier to digest if it actually has context, lol.

One thing that really bothers me about Trails through Daybreak is the text speed ... No idea why you can't make it faster or even instant. Always having to double tap when reading is so annoying. And I don't really want to keep being in turbo mode either.

Don't want to jump the gun but enjoying Daybreak 2 so far 🤔Think it helps it isn't stuck in this rigorous structure of "new act = new character (+ their arc)" and we're jumping around with split groups. Also the Märchen Garten part is a nice bonus thing that I already loved in Reverie. Plus fishing!
