I've seen a lot of posts incorrectly say you have to call your reps about the SCREEN Act. while the Screen Act is definitely worth calling about, that is not what is being brought before the Senate on thursday

What you need to call your reps about is the "S.5260 Interstate Obscenity Definition Act"

You know what probably doesn't help me with dubs? The fact that Mexican dubs are probably some of the best in the industry. When I listen to an English dub I am constantly thinking of the Simpsons dub and how groundbreaking it is, so listening to what might be an average dub is really grating to me

You know Jim Henson's work on the muppets was amazing, but I think his more experimental work is definitely worthy of mention. His work genuinely makes you think about its meaning, what he was trying to say and what might be going through his head. Very talented guy

you know what the worst part is? The US is extremely capable of doing quality voice acting, you see most animated movies in their original english language and the voice acting is good, but this is just fucking abysmal dogshit, I am so glad I fucking turned on a cartoon on my other monitor

I don't think I'll be able to log this onto letterboxd, my brain has been doing what I subconsciously do when my parents put on a bad movie and just tune the audio out. This is not a silent movie, I can't rate this like a silent movie
