EMoDiR is seeking a new social media manager! This role entails: • Managing EMoDiR’s existing social media platforms, including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Academia.edu, overseeing their online communities while maintaining respectful and appropriate interactions; • Expanding EMoDiR’s online presence through other social networks (e.g. BlueSky); • Designing posters for EMoDiR’s events. Ideal candidates for this role would be master students or early career researchers with a strong interest in early modern religious dissents and radicalism, possessing either a proven track record or the capability to cultivate and oversee social media communities, and must be accessible via email. The chosen candidate will be trained by EMoDiR’s departing social media manager, Dr. Timothy Twining. The social media manager will collaborate closely with EMoDiR Steering Committee and the webmasters and join EMoDiR’s Executive Committee. The position is for two years and can be renewed. Interested applicants should submit their application by May 18 at newsletter@emodir.net, with the email subject “EMoDiR Social Media Manager,” Please include a CV and a concise motivation letter detailing your relevant experience and your interest in the role. While the position is unpaid, it presents a valuable chance to gain pertinent experience in managing academic social media communities, establish a professional network, and join EMoDiR’s Executive Committee. Please keep this in mind when applying.
