It never gets old to see the Mycoplasma model in the coolest places!
CellWalk is featured in Apple's new article on Apple Intelligence and Foundation Models.

It's a really fun new way to learn about concepts and terms in the app, and I really enjoyed building it.

One feature that makes EEEV so dangerous is its ability to infect a wide variety organisms--birds, insects, and mammals. This adaptability is thought to be due in part to how it binds to receptors on the cell surface.

It's absolutely wild to see the whole cell model I and @ludovicautin.bsky.social built being featured in CellWalk, a finalist app in the 2025 Apple Design Awards created by the one and only @timd-ca.bsky.social 🤯
Check it out! I'm proud to unveil CellWalk 2 for Apple Vision Pro. Bring beautiful and immersive biology learning into your space.

If you are feeling a bit hopeless in your next move after a postdoc, here's a story to pick you up...you never know what can come from work you do outside of your 9-5, that has been true for me at least! www.science.org/content/arti...
As a laid off postdoc, I turned to a side hustle—and found a new career
“There’s room to think creatively and build new opportunities for yourself,” this former postdoc writes

Wow, it’s already been 🥇 year?! Sometimes it still feels surreal that I actually get to work at #BioRender! Grateful to have found such an incredibly energetic team—one that’s challenged me, supported me, and helped me grow into a better designer.

P.S. How cute is this pin?! 🥇

OpenAI’s new GPT-4o image generator is kind of mind-blowing, especially compared to what was state-of-the-art just days ago. Someone had to try the Ghibli trend on some crazy biology visuals, right? Here's my beloved whole cell model in Studio Ghibli, graffiti, cubism, abstract, and pop art style ✨
