Word of the day is ‘quockerwodger’ (19th century): a puppet politician whose strings are pulled entirely by someone else.

Author Carol Forrester, explained that the records of women's achievement during the middle ages were literally destroyed by men to downplay their role. Thus making it hard to research. It's a good job nothing like that can possibly ever happen nowadays.

Author Carol Forrester bringing women's history to life through poetry. Which when you think about it should just be "history" but then we know how certain men like to edit it.

Myself and Jacqui made a great double act as Ford Prefect and Arthur Dent at the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Cocktail Party. And of course we rounded the night off with a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster. I can confirm that I am completely gargle blasted the following day 🥴🤣

Last night I dreamt that I was Ritchie Blackmore's road manager. I have never met the real person but I can confidently state his dream counterpart is complete c**nt. I also managed to release the antichrist into an unsuspecting world as well. P.S. I did not eat any cheese yesterday at all!!!

It's cocktails at the end of the Universe this weekend, where I will be channeling my inner Arthur Dent. Since my natural look is one of complete bewilderment, it won't be much of a stretch for my limited acting chops.

Keith Allen (Lilly's dad) often made the point about film editing being used to push a biased narrative; and John Pilger maintained the BBC is biased in favour of the establishment (i.e. whoever is in power at the time). I wonder how unbiased the baying hounds of GB and Fox News are in comparison?

I just wish more world leaders would heed his words.

Lisbon appears to me as a city of contradictions. Historic buildings nestle on a picturesque waterfront, not far from rundown apartments. Anything that doesn't move fast enough is covered in graffiti. No such thing as a "white" van in Lisbon, as they share the streets with charming historic trams.

I'd forgotten that to gain entrance to a ship you have to traverse along a gangway high in the air. This is not good when you suffer from acrophobia. Still I am in a cabin with a window and there is a bottle of wine.

In my opinion the "No Kings" movement could equally apply to the UK. The royal family refer to themselves as "the firm", which is also eastend slang for a criminal gang; and the royal court is more secretive than the Kremlin. #notmyking
