Zrovna jsem zjistil, že doktorandi mimo archeologii u nás na fakultě si myslí, že archeologové vykopávají dinosaury. Něco tu zjevně děláme špatně.

Zrovna jsem zjistil, že doktorandi mimo archeologii u nás na fakultě si myslí, že archeologové vykopávají dinosaury. Něco tu zjevně děláme špatně.

Glosa Evy Mošpanové: Říkáme, že děti jsou naše budoucnost. Ale ne natolik, abychom je chtěli potkávat v kavárnách, slyšet v debatách nebo brát vážně. Je tedy správné, že prezident během státních vyznamenání dostal děti do centra pozornosti.

Jeho předkové žili i v oblasti s bohatou židovskou tradicí a historií – v Polici na Třebíčsku. Joseph Pulitzer se narodil jako József Pulitzer v Makó na jihovýchodě dnešního Maďarska, emigroval do USA, kde se stal jedním z nejznámějších a nejmocnějších žurnalistů, a zemřel 29. 10. 1911.

I have no words… I really thought that the experience of the UISPP (then WAC) taught us some things about the politics of archaeology. Seems it didn’t. Today I am ashamed to be an EAA member…

We are in the new Archaeology Laboratory at Ariel University, where Benjamin showed us an Iron Age figurine and Egyptian artefacts from Tel Burna. Exciting news as well—our article on the geochemistry of the Gate Area at Tel Burna has just been accepted! Stay tuned to see the results soon.
We are continuing our environmental research at Tel Ashdod. This season began with clearing the site entrance; now, in autumn, we are already processing soil and sediment samples. See today’s field video.
