I’m deeply saddened by the loss of my friend, state Sen. Ed Kennedy (D-Lowell). We shared 50 years of friendship, politics, and public service, starting in 1977. Ed served Lowell with honor and always did what was right. I’ll miss our talks. My condolences to his family.
