Housing is so expensive people are opting to live in campers set up at a permanent site. These campgrounds offer full hook ups-electric, water, sewer, internet, for one price, usually about $500/month. Now, the campers are huge but cost less than you'd think.

Also, his hero Ronald Reagan is the one who originally instituted that law, that anyone who walks into an emergency room will be treated, and supplied the funds to pay for it. Many American citizens without insurance have benefitted from that law!

So the people causing the shutdown are getting paid. The people keeping the country running don’t.

And Speaker Mike Johnson won’t let the House come back to work. So basically they’re on a paid vacation while Americans miss paychecks.
