The mining station is not a sprawling facility by any means. The time from disembarking to the control room is short, and the corridors empty. It leaves her with plenty of time to while away the hours sifting through data.

I suppose the Warrior-Servants have always prioritised function within their armaments. So, I understand your points.
I am quite partial to a little of both, but the field of battle is not where I belong.

Opulence is not practical for someone whose specialty are stealth and terror tactics.
It gets in the way.
As for functionality, more mobile, more practical, more advanced... there's limits to my technology and magics, and dare i say i'm nearing the limit of how far i can go.

It is certainly slimmed down somewhat.
Although, there is no harm in implementing a little opulence. It allows one to make an entrance, which serves some purpose.
