Liam Lawsom currently meeting with Helmut Marko. Isack Hadjar was very happy yesterday, he seems safe, and a Red Bull driver for next year. Liam...? #F1

Smooth surface plus high speeds equals huge tyre forces and wear through sliding, especially front end. Pirelli is wary of cuts seen on Friday. No known concerns yet post Sprint, but investigations are ongoing. #F1

Was that the fullest Sprint ever? Yuki did well at the start to helpax, after that it was all quite processional. Good drive from Oscar, but there was precious little action. #F1

Adrian Newey was an interested observer on the Sprint grid. #F1

McLaren has spoken about Piastri helping Norris for the title in view of the threat Max poses. The decision, a quick 'no' from Piastri. He's still in the fight, after all, so can't really blame him. #F1

Newey: "I’m looking forward to taking on this additional role as we put ourselves in the best possible position to compete in 2026, where we will face an entirely new position with Aston Martin now a works team combined with the considerable challenge faced by the new regs." F1

After 30-something hours in transit, I've arrived in Qatar. #F1

Speculation surrounding the Madring not being ready for 2026 is "nonsense" I'm told. Lots still to do, of course, but plenty of time. #F1

McLaren summoned to the stewards for plank wear on both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri cars. Huge in context of the championship. #F1

Max Verstappen now has a better win rate in F1 than Michael Schumacher. 29.87 per cent for Verstappen versus 29.64 for Schumacher. #F1

The Turn 1 clash with Lawson has left Piastri with some minor damage. Nothing race threatening, but isn't helping his cause. #F1
November 23, 2025 at 5:03 AM
How and why were marshals on track at Turn 1 as the field came through? So soon after Mexico, that demands an explanation from the FIA. #F1

New PU elements for Yuki Tsunoda, plus set-up changes and a different spec rear wing mean he'll start the Las Vegas GP from the pit lane. Not a huge penalty given he was P19... #F1

Alpine fined 5000 euro for failing to electronically return Franco Colapinto's tyres correctly. #F1

Sainz will maintain third. His unsafe rejoin was, in fact, safe according to Lance Stroll and so there is no penalty. #F1

Mercedes in the clear on set-up sheets. An IT security issue meant forms were submitted in time, just not received by the FIA. #F1

Curious one for Mercedes. Honestly don't know how this will play out - I assume DSQ is a possibility as cars were technically not in parc ferme? Curious to see stewards outcome. #F1
Mercedes at risk as FIA launches double Las Vegas Grand Prix investigation

I love the lack of grip, highlights the driver's skill. But at what point is it unsafe? Has to be close. #F1

There's something glorious about seeing an F1 car in a four-wheel drift. I'd advocate for tyres that give much less grip if this is the product. Lap times don't matter; I want to see driver skill, and we're seeing it clearly right now. #F1
November 22, 2025 at 12:51 AM
The post that appeared on Oscar Piastri's social media was an innocent mistake. I'm told Oscar wasn't even aware of it. #F1

FIA has confirmed there was a fault in the manhole yesterday which has now been fixed. All others have been checked and additional welding applied to 14 manhole assemblies. Again, brilliant job by the marshal that spotted the issue in the first place during FP2 yesterday. #F1

FIA on the second stoppage: "Some Race Control personnel remained on-site when the session was restarted. They reported that the manhole cover was moving as cars passed over it, which led to the session being ended under red-flag conditions. Further inspections are underway." #F1
