From ethics/sustainability perspective, why would you ever support a person with bully mentality (e.g. Musk) unless if their activity was critical to the world and for this sole reason?

Any socially subjective criterion/dimension/hierarchy can be made into socially objective (in Harari's terms, "intersubjective" rather) through aggregation. In fact, this will be exactly (up to the sampling biases) what is conceptualized by machine intelligence models.
