I was thinking the same thing. And for wrongful termination.
Thank you, again. I would like to make multiple hats for some of the kids who hang at the library and for our church winter wear give away. I think the need is going to be greater than in previous years. Good for you for making them for your students.
He's out and about. Really loves attention. No name yet.
Still haven't decided on a name but what was lost is found.
I like yours, too. Where did you hear about the kal?
Made this for my SIL. Modified from Sarah Schira's book.
Could I ask for details on the red hat? Things like yarn weight and pattern. I want to make a hat for a preteen and haven't been able to find a pattern that I think will work with the stash I have. I'll go out and get more yarn if necessary. Most of the patterns call for a bulky weight.
I really love "the Santa clause" but I'm not a fan of Tim Allen for his views on teachers.
Agreed. Our 3 boys were much more affectionate than the girl.
Oh, our first cat after we got married was a tortie.
We always knew when it was going to be REALLY cold. All 4 of the cats would be on our bed.
I seem to have become the neighborhood cat lady. This guy is an only child which means I'll probably have to get him a sibling.
Pretty boy. I'm sure He's just muscular.
This kitty our 6th cat in 32 yrs. We've always had a bowl or 2 out for between meal snacks plus wet food at breakfast and dinner. This guy is mostly muscle as I learned in the first failed attempt to bring him here. I
No but we don't know where he is and we're trying to find him. 😉
And I just discovered that the mice are also starting to seek shelter. I'll be offline for a bit while I wash all the silverware and make space for that and the bread on the dining room table.🤦
We're trying to find out his name and previous vet so we have vac dates. We were told he's neutered and up to date but would like more specifics. The neighbors called him honeybun but he didn't respond when we tried it. Seriously considering Waldo. My husband suggested higgs boson.
find him putting Italian dressing into the other ingredients. My recipe called for salad dressing. Instead of asking he assumed I meant Italian dressing. Thankfully he hadn't put the egg yolk in first (didn't follow the earlier directions). Anyone else grow up calling miracle whip salad dressing?
Why not both? I use mayo on subs and sandwiches but have to have miracle whip for Mac salad and devilled eggs. Funny story: my son wanted to make devilled eggs for a work event. I gave him my recipe before he unceremoniously kicked me out of my kitchen. I came back later to check in his progress to
I figure he'll come out when he gets hungry. With his size, it could take a while.🙃 We had an 18 lb very muscular boy. Waldo has him beat. We probably shouldn't have opened the crate so soon but I hate to cage animals. It'll work out eventually.🤞
He was delivered in a dog crate. He's a very big boy who was abandoned after a house fire. The neighbors there contacted the owners but they never came back (almost 3 months). The neighbors have been feeding him well but I guess no one wanted to keep him.
Blasphemy! Kidding. We rescued a cat yesterday and he is hiding in our house. I think we should name him Waldo.
Not at all. They just skip over the parts about feeding the hungry, healing the sick, clothing the naked, and welcoming the stranger. I had a woman drive by our protest and comments that "it depends on where they're from." She probably claims to be a christian.
My son's best friend is in the Navy. He does have a 2nd job. And his wife usually works full time. Stayed with us last year to hunt deer to be able to have meat and stretch the grocery money. Pretty sad.
Another local church did bag lunches for local children with the YMCA and distributed at the library. We had one boy in particular who needed food to get through weekends and that was in the before time. Unclaimed lunches were saved so he could have food over the weekend.
Very true. I always wonder about donating food items. I think things like canned fruit and veggies would be good. But then I wonder if people have a way to open the cans. Some might not. Fortunately I do have contacts who work the food bank and can probably steer me in the right direction.
