We don't really see much of their friendship to be honest, the vacations are barely there, Alex whole backstory doesn't exist?? Poppy backstory is mentioned quickly (too quickly), and the list goes on.. It's a whole new movie and not an adaption for me

I love Alex back story, also the way they meet and the way they go on vacation that's so important it's sad to not have that. Poppy whole story about why she hates her small town was also sort of thrown there (half of it) and that's it? (I haven't finished the whole movie yet tho we'll see)

I don't think it would have been a hard book to adapt either? I mean maybe all the traveling probably but making it a tv show instead could've fix that issue? I don't' know, I'm so disappointed
