Hoping to use Bluesky to finally air all my gaming opinions so my friends don't have to bear the brunt of them. I play games from each of the 3 console manufacturers and many third party and indie titles too. I'll try to make a thread of my main interests if that's a thing on Bluesky...

First Ghost of Yotei session is complete and I now have 3 days off to fully live in this world. Loving the game so far and am really excited to play more!

Of course, the actual solution was already achieved in Jedi: Fallen Order where a button prompt to get a hint comes up instead of it being automatic.

Ooh, I think I've got the solution! Let's put a bit of yellow paint on the important parts of the puzzle!!

(Personally I don't actually mind either of these solutions in non-puzzle focussed games and rarely notice them but also... Yotei has puzzles?!)

Just finished replaying Ghost of Tsushima twice in preparation for Yotei. I can't wait to try the dual Katanas and making friends with the Wolf!

Ahh yeah, that sounds like it's bugged. Fast travelling straight to that archery challenge, I believe the area it's in is called Buddha's Footprints, should unlock it straight away!
That is, if you're bothered enough by it to load it back up 😂

Oh I just did the Iki Island stuff the other day. You don't have to play Legends to get that final Common Courtesy! A patch made it so that if you talk to her again it'll just complete it but it bugged for me and I had to fast travel to the archery challenge at the Raider Memorial for it to count.

Just tried out Sands of Hope and really dug it! It's a very chill little puzzler where you manipulate blocks to solve puzzles with a gorgeous aesthetic! Seems nice and open with loads of optional sections too!

"Indie" is such a broad term these days, I don't envy you in that task. Personally I think just "Independent" is the easiest way to look at it... But definitely doesn't fit the vibes when you've got games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Clair Obscur that are fully independent.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. Whether Playstation make Xbox Console or Xbox PC versions or not they'll seemingly be playable on future Xbox hardware so Playstation might not feel the need to make specific Xbox versions as they'll be making money from them either way.

That is true, but with Xbox seemingly switching to Windows going forward Playstation will be able to get some of that revenue via Steam anyway so the console sales will need to be even higher for it to be worth it to them. Will be very interesting to see how it goes though!

My prediction is that this doesn't do as great sales wise as everyone seems to think it will and Playstation will not publish any more on Xbox consoles (except maybe one or two others shortly after if they're already in production like the GoW spinoff potentially). Hope to be wrong though!
