I asked ChatGPT what the odds were of two players from Iwate Prefecture being on the same MLB team at the same time.
The answer was 0.0219% — about once in 4,600 cases. Practically a miracle😆
And if both of them are actually performing well, the odds get even smaller.

A soba restaurant in Morioka with a 400-year history, run by acquaintances of mine, was completely destroyed by fire last night.
I’m deeply saddened, and I worry about the family’s future.
There was also a major fire in Ōfunato this year, and people close to me have been affected😢
