As someone developing a game about Dancesport - with the kind of costumes that basement dwellers typically find scandalous - I am deeply concerned that my game will be assessed by aforementioned basement dwellers as well.

Damn the commitment of some dancers is next level. Just speaking to the coach of a couple where one lives in Sydney and one in Melbourne. Imagine the level of co-ordination to organise lessons, travel schedules etc when it's like a half day just to travel back and forth.

Watched The Long Walk film.
It was so close.
So close.
But it fails in a big way. We don’t really see any physical impact from the walk. The book is brutal in what that walk does to participants. The film shows people dying but everyone looks as fresh at the as the start.

If I were an enterprising indie developer I would be taking the opportunity to make “Sims but without Saudi Arabia’s censorship board watching us” because we all know what’s inevitable here.
