Today Firefox updated it's browser with "Tab groups".

I've tried it and I think it will help with productivity. It allows users choose specific colors and name each group. The groups can also be toggled between max or minimized in order to help keep things clean.

A great looking product is always beneficial in the long run, but may lead to user bias when receiving honest feedback during the qualitative usability test phase. This article has some good solutions that can be used during said phase.
