The "don't give them what they want" stuff is obvious BS. Walz had/has to know that a lot of the people who have been terrorized weren't even protesting. They were just going to the doctor or driving in their neighborhood

My contention has always been that Dilbert is just a ripoff of the office parts of The Drew Carey show despite starting six years earlier

I know there are lots of other very worthy causes to donate to, and lots of huge things going on in the world -- but in case you missed it, Marlene broke her ankle on January 1. She had (successful!) surgery on it last Thursday, and the bills...have started.

I know there are lots of other very worthy causes to donate to, and lots of huge things going on in the world -- but in case you missed it, Marlene broke her ankle on January 1. She had (successful!) surgery on it last Thursday, and the bills...have started.
It's sadly more apparent every day that culture and society peaked with the release of "It's OK" by Slimm Calhoun (ft. Andre 3000)

I read that NYT "Why do Americans mistrust AI" thing and it's an actual dereliction of duty not to mention that the U.S. is the one country where getting any kind of life-saving health care is dependent on having a job with health insurance

For the life of me I'll never understand how anyone would think the AI-generated "movie just for you!" concept could take off, because who watches a movie alone and then doesn't talk to anybody about it? Like, film being a shared experience is just not a thought in these people's heads
