It is!!!! I loved it as a little kid because of the aliens and ray guns, then grew into those larger themes. And Kenneth Johnson did it all on an 80s TV budget but it still looks like an expensive modern movie!

Proofreading feels neverending. Going through my next book 'one more time,' I still found one misspelled word, two capitalization errors, two punctuation errors, and four subjective comma stuff that most people wouldn't have noticed. My reward for fixing those problems--I get to proofread it again!

I think some of the resentment and #hate that attracts people to certain #podcasters is caused by people being given the impression they would need to give up their seat at the table in order for someone else to have a seat at the table. But it's a REALLY BIG table with lots of empty chairs!

I heard a legislator saying calling #Trump an " #existentialthreattodemocracy " was inflated #rhetoric, part of the problem. But when Trump asks states to redraw districts before an #election, that is a literal, completely objective direct threat to #democracy.

There are organizations and individuals with a lot of resources who can't succeed in a world where we talk to each other. They can only thrive in chaos, and they are REALLY good at creating chaos.

It almost sounds easy--provide everyone with the same objective information, and then we can have #conversations and #disagreements over the same established information. BUT a lot of people have been trying to do this over the last 20 years, and instead we are more divided than ever.

This could explain the current disconnect. I try to see the humanity in people I disagree with, but when I see people honoring someone who said horrible things in confrontational ways, it's hard not to assume they are honoring the horrible things.
