This week can get in the effing bin.
Over it.
Way too hard for way too many reasons. And utterly exhausting.

Shut my laptop, elasticated trousers on, takeaway ordered, telly on.
Bye.
Such wonderful news. Am thrilled for Jilly & Tim for this recognition from London Pub Theatres for their detailed, rich, funny & moving performances in TRESTLE at The Jack Studio. They made my job as Director very easy. Looking forward to the Awards bash on 26 Oct. 🤞🥂
We are so proud of our 'Harry' (Timothy Harker) & 'Denise' (Jilly Bond) who have been announced as London Pub Theatre Awards Finalists (Best Two-Hander) for their performances in "TRESTLE".
Brilliant news & SO well deserved. Fingers crossed for you both...

Chuffed to bits to be directing the in-house Panto at The Bridge House Theatre this year; BEAUTY & THE BEAST. Written as a 4-hander by Panto acer Luke Adamson, it's gonna be a small cast BLAST!

Am “collecting” every Best Actress win & just watched Annie Hall. Diane Keaton is GLORIOUS. Totally understand how she won. But such a bold character for the time. A woman with actual agency aligned with clear psychological awareness.. And what a singing voice. Loved. An icon.

One week since one of the best days of my silly, old life. Such gorgeousness with so many lovely, dear friends. I’m a very lucky man.

London travel’s a mess this week but if you’ve booked a Fringe Theatre show, please do all you can to get there. If you can’t, please consider donating your ticket rather than refunding. Or find a local fringe show to support — they’ll be thrilled to see you! Fringe Theatre survives because of you.
BONDING has completed its five-star, award winning run at Edinburgh Fringe. Thank you so much to all who joined us. The audience feedback has been so beautiful (especially on Fringe site). Shaken & stirred that we have touched so many whilst also giving them a good ol' giggle. ❤️
Lovely testimonial from a recent PR client

“Matthew did a wonderful PR job for us. He knew exactly what we needed & delivered. As an out of town producer, I never could've reached all the terrific reviewers in his address book” Central Standard Theatre

B and I bought a new chair.
I sat in it and had a crack at Brummie and then he sat in it and did a flawless Bristolian.
Worked really well.
Would recommend.
10/10.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Cleverly weaves together 60 years of Bond history with 30 years of Stephen’s life, culminating in a poignant reflection on fatherhood, identity & emotional vulnerability... Slick & well-paced, with Parker’s direction ensuring that the transitions between humour & heartbreak are seamless."
First Edinburgh review of BONDING in & it's absolute beauty from Theatre Weekly.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ "With its blend of nostalgia, wit & emotional depth, it’s a tribute not just to Bond, but to the bonds that shape us... It’s personal, raw & deeply relatable."

Home alone with this one.
I’m enjoying The Brutalist.
She’s enjoying tiny bits of cheese and tummy rubs.
★★★★1/2 "Written& performed by Blake & deftly directed by Matthew Parker, this production is far more than a tribute to Bond’s shaken-not-stirred bravado. It’s a touching & unexpectedly vulnerable look at family, identity & grief"
