Spent a lot of time in oppostion home ends when i lived in London. Pushed it a bit watching Lens beat Arsenal at Wembley, but hardest was me and my friend having to sit on our hands for a late Jason Lee equaliser at Stamford Bridge - a first-time half volley from the edge of the box. Oof.
Cracking @camsell59.bsky.social article in latest @wsc.co.uk issue, on away fans in the home end. I still wake up in a cold sweat remembering time I instinctively jumped up to celebrate a late Thierry Henry goal at the Riverside & sitting through the 4-4 in the Leazes lower tier at St James’ Park!
