This is SUCH a useful article/website/database that I will be using in my teaching & research. Finally a datasource that acknowledges the important fact that not all populist parties clearly fit on the left or the right - so happy to have data on valence, agrarian and regionalist populist parties.

This one is big. Great overview of the various currents within the populist family. Plus, it provides a rough template that one could use with regards to other ideological families. My immediate thought is that a taxonomy of the rapidly growing radical right would be especially compelling.

The Economist again making the mistake of treating what they call "hard right" as a unitary actor pursuing broadly consistent policies. Yet this is only true (to an extent) about "wokeness" & migration. On everything else they are very divided.
