it has escaped me that he recently just instructed Pam Bondi to open an investigation into Clinton. This is his way out of this. If there is an active investigation, they can’t release the Epstein files.

In my 40 years on earth, I’m not sure I’ve seen such a high profile bill pass almost unanimously by the house and unanimously by the senate in the same day. In a time when both sides of the aisle can’t even agree on lunch, this feels really big.

Interesting take, and one I haven’t heard yet. I’d much rather this be the reason for the sudden push for the release of the Epstein files than his name being scrubbed from the files by his henchmen in the DOJ during the shutdown.
Marjorie Taylor Greene's big takedown of Trump today is powerful because it broadcasts that he's losing control over the GOP. His sudden call for release of files wasn't about transparency. It was about sustaining the illusion that he controls the party.

Interesting take, and one I haven’t heard yet. I’d much rather this be the reason for the sudden push for the release of the Epstein files than his name being scrubbed from the files by his henchmen in the DOJ during the shutdown.
Reminder to some that you can still be conservative republicans and not be MAGA. You don’t have to drag around trump’s moral corpse everywhere you go. You can disagree with him and everything he stands for while still remaining a member of your party.

I have little faith that the Epstein files are intact at this point. Going from railing against them to fully encouraging their release overnight tells me they scrubbed the files of trumps name during the shutdown. I know this is about more than just him, but this was a means to an end.

Does anyone actually believe trumps name will be in the files now? They’ve been in “his” DOJ’s control for long enough for them to scrub his name from the files. Why else would he all of a sudden encourage their release.

I replaced the broken porch light that’s been non functional since I moved into my house in 2019. And I didn’t manage to electrocute myself even once! I did, however, curse the screws they came with that didn’t fit in my electrical box.

If there isn’t a tribunal arranged for everyone involved with these ICE kidnappings from the president on down to clownish Dean Cain after this regime is overthrown, I’m leaving the country.
