“Despite Meta’s own work [including a damning study with Nielsen in 2020] documenting a causal link between its products and negative mental health effects, the filing alleges, Meta told Congress that it had no ability to quantify whether its products were harmful to teenage girls.”
I’ve spent almost seven years covering Meta and have had a good deal of exposure to internal work product on teen well-being. But a Friday filing in the school district social media litigation breaks some ground on Meta’s causal findings regarding social media harm.

To me, Babylon Berlin is Tom Tykwer’s best work. And his musical score with Johnny Klimek is a gem.
