A beachy and loose watercolor landscape from my latest class. This was my first time usingwhite gouache to add in water details and some tiny birds and clouds. I’m probably most happy with the water hitting the rocks and shore.

I’m learning a lot. Class has been fun.

The painting is of a beach scene with mostly sand in the foreground and some rocks. That becomes more rocks on the beach and a jetty into the water in the mid ground. The water has an emerald hue and is crashing against shore. The background of the image shifts to some green shrubs and trees as well as a longer landmass in the distance.

I’m proud of this one.

“Pumpkin Patch”

Watercolor with some fine line pen and a dash of colored pencil. More practice on brushes.

Hope folks are enjoying the shift to fall and everyone gets a chance to get out, pick some pumpkins, and take in some crisp fresh air.
