At the very least, it's the discouraged/quiet subtype, so it's mostly internalised. It sucks but at least other people don't have to deal with it that often.
bpd will have you crying listening to music talking about "I wanna live and have hope" then the very next day it's like "well all my connections are fake and I'm unlovable guess I should just give up." and there's like no in-between
