Larry Summer’s regular emails to the notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein show that the former Treasury secretary cultivated a long-standing personal relationship with Epstein, even after Epstein’s sordid history was made public. From Robert Kuttner:

Collateral Damage From the Epstein Files: Larry Summers - The American Prospect
It’s long past time to jettison Summers as hopelessly contaminated. But there are far more serious reasons to dump Summers than his gross connections with Jeffrey Epstein.

I’ll take it a step further - everybody, and I mean everybody, who is on the list and convicted of a crime associated with this horrible man’s sex trafficking operation should be sentenced to death and swiftly executed. Let’s send a message to the powerful that we’re done playing these games.
The Epstein coverup will go down as one of the greatest scandals and miscarriages of justice in U.S. history.

Everyone involved with Epstein’s victims or with the coverup needs to be prosecuted and go down in shame.

It does not matter if they are GOP or Dems!

Repost if you agree.

This is what I want to vote for.
i’ve said this before and i remain convinced it’s true, the 2028 platform that would deliver obama 08 results is “i am gonna
bring the hammer down on the corrupt self-dealing politicians and their rich friends and there are no sacred cows id give a pass”

The wealthy have more than enough people looking after their interests. Bring back a government that advocates for the interests of regular working people.
YES. When asked what Dems have gotten wrong, @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social says, "We need to bring back working people as the focus of our party."

Rep. Pressley is right: the people of America have spoken.
The leaders who will be tasked with rebuilding our democracy will need to be capable of, & willing to, think way outside of the beltway's status quo.
Tonight, is a taste of what awaits us IF we do the work & support our future.
The people have spoken and the Democratic party should listen to them.

With our rights and freedoms under attack, we need visionary leaders who serve the people—not special interests or billionaires—and who are committed to building an America where everyone has their basic needs met.

Why the fuck is there corn syrup in my half and half? So much American food is not even actual food any more. We’re being fed industrial garbage by companies who view us as cattle.

Why the ever-loving fuck is there corn syrup in my half and half? I want a dairy product, not a corn syrup product. Outrageous. I don’t want fucking corn syrup in my coffee.

@tinyklaus.com @libertybirb.bsky.social just listened to the Project Preserve Destiny episode and man. Much respect to you guys. A breath of fresh air in a space full of propaganda, bullshit, and grift. Keep up the good work.

The enshittification of everything is a great source of frustration to me. 2 year old dishwasher barely works. Pressure washer hose exploded. Groceries are all pay more, get less. All insurance is outrageously expensive and pays for nothing.

In these dark times, I am actually quite moved by something that happened to me today. I bumped into a guy I know from the farm store, and he randomly gave me like 40 pounds of tomatoes and a bunch of cucumbers for free.

For some reason the chatbot I work on is suggesting electric shocks to the users. Not sure if it’s just sick of their shit or if there’s a more prosaic explanation for this.

There’s a book called The Toaster Project where a guy tries to make a toaster from scratch. It gave me a whole new appreciation for the everyday technologies we take for granted.
Nothing has taught me this respect like working manual labor/mechanics.

“One way to illustrate that most technologies are, in fact, pretty "hi," is to ask yourself of any manmade object, Do I know how to make one?”
February 17, 2025 at 2:43 PM
If you travel at all this should be a huge red flag. The technological infrastructure that underpins modern aviation needs skilled technicians to keep it running. And if it doesn’t run properly…well, ya know. People die.
Another way the dictatorship might kill you. This is from a friend who is a retired air traffic controller.

Etincelle hard cider, product of Quebec. 10/10. Incredible. Smooth. Sweet but not artificially sweet. Eminently drinkable. Easily the best cider I have ever had. #quebec #montreal #cider
