Yeah. Game dev takes time. 1.5 years for mine. Lots of that was just learning the engine...

Ahaha. There're a few reasons for the stump. 😁 1. Parody games which start the player in a secluded area to not overwhelm them. 2. Nice segue into humorous banter that introduces the first two characters.

It won't be *playable* yet unfortunately. (sorry!! 😓)

It's common for games to have a Steam page long before release, so anyone interested can wishlist and then be notified when it does release.

This is all in #Godot.

The 160x144 resolution *is* identical to the Game Boy though. Its games and hardware limitations were a major influence on this game.

These are the very first two screenshots I have of #MayGame.

The game has come a long way since then. ^^

This entire week was spent designing store assets and fine-tuning things over and over. 🤯😵‍💫 Very happy with how it's coming along. But it's too early to share any of it (soon though!!), so please enjoy this short and sweet clip for now. ^^
