And overal I don't care That Much, this site is still growing and I'm glad original artists are getting the recognition they deserve. I just wish more artists would acknowledge that this site is still not going to be a viable replacement for twitter for a lot of people due to its limited audience

The tags are all basically empty. Every fandom I look up on here is like "a handful of art posts made months apart and One Guy promoting their livestream 20 times". this is not enough to sustain most fan communties. tumblr and twitter are still Vastly superior for most fan artists unfortunately

I'm not overly concerned abt my engagement here cause I mostly just use it to post liveblogs and such to, but I've def noticed fan art performs WAY worse here than original art does (or more "mainstream" fan art that appeals to a broad/artist audience) cause there's just no fan communities here

This site is great for a lot of ppl and I'm glad for that, but I think that is in large part because a lot of it's userbase consists of other "content creators" (for lack of a better word). it's mosty artists/writers/streamers/activists etc that use this site, rather than like casual hobbiests/fans

One thing I do find weird tho is seeing ppl state that they're staying on bsky because "we need websites that appeal to non artists to survive!" like yes that is true. bsky is very much NOT one of those websites tho. literally THE criticism everyone has of this site is that only artists use it lmao

Tbh as much as I wish we could have social media sites that aren't run by corporate bozos the unfortunate reality is the corporate bozos are usually the only ones who can actually afford the server costs of a social media site large enough to be useful to anyone. all the others just run out of money

No intention of leaving either, cause there really aren't any alternatives that'll actually last that aren't also run by equally insufferable people lmao

here’s how the rest of the #Eeveelutions react to bathtime… 🛁🫧✨

How Eevee and its evolutions (except Sylveon, as she was drawn in the post this one is quoting) react to being bathed. Pokemon, drawing description, and image text in brackets:

Vaporeon: wagging its tail happily in a shower cubicle (Needs no second bidding. Removing them from the shower is harder)

Jolteon: looking sidelong at the viewer with narrowed eyes (You know better than to shower an Electric type.)

Flareon: rolling contentedly in a sand pit (Fluffy fire type gets a sand bath instead!)

Eevee: being held in one hand, rinsed with the other, with big sad eyes and question marks (Too liddol to comprehend or rebel. Feeling a bit betrayed tbh)

Espeon: Peering out of a crack in a cupboard (Uses Psychic powers to choose best hiding spots until you give up)

Umbreon: Hissing wild eyed, clinging to shower curtains, with gloved hands attempting to reach (Acrobatics, unholy screeching, etc. Protective gear recommended)

Leafeon: sitting under the shower happily, eyes closed and tongue outstretched to catch the water (Calmest Eeveelution in the bath. Plant likes being watered!)

Glaceon: Standing somewhat tensely under the shower in silence (Tolerates it, but might be plotting revenge)

It's been fixed Thank GOD. repair guy had to come by twice cause the first time he couldn't find a way to replace the busted part and tried just cleaning it (did not work) but thankfully by the second time he'd figured out another way to remove it. at this point its basically the ship of theseus lol
