Proud of new CPKC Pavilion on the (current) terminus of streetcar. Looking ahead to thousands more residents, new local businesses, and great park space. The riverfront is our founding and our future.

Collab by Port KC + Kansas City Streetcar Authority + CPKC + KCMO and more!

I’ve been at a lot of public schools in the past week and was proud Friday to be back in my home school district, Kansas City Public Schools.

Honored to spend time at Foreign Language Academy with great teachers, students, leaders, and programs teaching our students the world around them.

Housing + Affordability will always matter in building a better Kansas City for all of our community. Proud of the historic strides we have made and will make over the years ahead.

Working people have been left behind in New York. In the wealthiest city in the world, one in five can't afford $2.90 for the train or bus. As I told Trump today— it’s time to put those people right back at the heart of our politics.

Kansas City, MO 🤜🏾🤛🏾 Kansas City, KS

KCMO got the better end of the deal for lunch today. Honored to spend time with Mayor-elect Christal Watson from KCK/Wyandotte County.

Kansas City regionalism at its best! Looking forward to working with her and all my Dotte friends.

Now with sound on the intro. Can’t wait until we add the City Hall cast!

In Kansas City, we can respect the past while planning for a bright, dynamic, and competitive future, and that's the step essential as we plan for the future of Kansas City's century-old Country Club Plaza.

We were proud yesterday to welcome the women and men of the 185th Entering Officer Class of the Kansas City Police Department. With our hiring numbers up dramatically, you’ll see more officers patrolling throughout our city, enhancing responsiveness in our neighborhoods for a safer city.

For the fifth straight year, Kansas City received a perfect 100 score on the Municipal Equality Index! This recognition highlights KC’s ongoing work toward creating a more inclusive city for all.

I’ll forever be a believer in the promise of our young people and a believer in the promise of our public schools, our students, and our teachers in all of our region—as they build the future of Kansas City.

I was honored to return to Independence Public Schools yesterday.

We have a lot of progress to make, but glad to see our work in Kansas City is bringing down crime numbers in almost all categories, including homicides down 8% compared to last year and down 33% from 2023.

Proud of our strong collaboration with the City, KCPD, prosecutors, and our community.

Kansas City’s entrepreneurs are bringing jobs, investment, and growth to our city. I was proud to celebrate the success of our start-ups last evening with Launch KC, a collaboration with support from the EDC + Downtown Council + KCMO.

If you can win Springfield, you can win Missouri. If you can win Missouri, you can win America.

Proud to show up for a full crowd of Greene County Democrats who know our schools, our healthcare, our seniors, our families, our communities, and our state are worth the work.

Whatever. I love bubbles.

I ❤️ you Springfield and surrounds!

From some good laughs with my friend Mayor Jeff Schrag to learning from business leaders and the brilliant students in Springfield’s schools and universities. Love working together as we build a thriving and welcoming Missouri for all.

A game-changer for the West Bottoms is opening soon with the Rock Island Bridge across from Kemper Arena. Redevelopment along the Kansas River will mean more waterfront engagement, including extensive trails, crew, and kayaking in Kansas City and our very close surrounds!

Y’all have been good to me today at the 18th and Vine Arts Festival Conference where I got to celebrate and support our artists. Our culture will forever make Kansas City great—in 2026 and long after.

I hope you all are still out and about enjoying this beautiful November day.

This week, Kansas City lost the embodiment of selfless service and persistent advocacy in our community with the death of Alice Kitchen at 83. I share my thoughts. www.facebook.com/share/1GgYB8...

Proud to host US Senator Elissa Slotkin of Michigan on her first trip to Kansas City where we both got to hear what folks are talking about—healthcare; safety; and how to make ends meet. I appreciate her listening to Kansas City voices. We’ll make sure we keep sharing.

Like many of you, I remember visiting the Steamboat Arabia in my youth and appreciate the experiences they’ve crafted for many.

The City will work creatively to reimagine the museum’s former space and nearby activation to support the continuing success of the City Market.

Missouri is worth the work.

Excited to listen to my fellow Missourians in Springfield today—workers, businesspeople, students, leaders, and every day people looking to build a better life for their families and our shared communities.

See you soon Springfield and surrounds!

"How do you, as a Democratic mayor in a blue city in a red state, think about the deployment of the National Guard?"

"Step one, this is just totally, totally idiotic."
