Congratulations to the UK for following the US in adopting the varicella vaccine. Notably they are using MMRV.

My New Year’s resolution is to finally gain the ability to think for myself and advocate for what I feel is in the best interest of the public.

According to our healthcare leaders and internet trolls (same thing), I’ve just been a mindless, unfeeling Pharma shill.

I’ve got to hand it to this health administration. They’ve achieved their primary goal of no longer having lockdowns and mask mandates.

It is a sad state of affairs that a Harvard infectious disease physician has to waste his time debunking the stupid and cruel conspiracy theories emanating from our top healthcare leaders.

Lack of nuance has been a problem with public-health messaging since the start of the coronavirus pandemic—and now the insistence that no evidence exists for vaccine-related deaths risks adding to the crisis, @mazer.us argues. bit.ly/3YgOpQz

Cause-of-death determinations happen every day in medicine. Yet when vaccines might be involved, that standard seems to change: Suddenly, authorities demand an impossibly high level of evidence.

It wouldn’t surprise me if some of these purported deaths were, in fact, caused by the covid vaccine—we know the shots can cause death extremely rarely.

But let’s not forget how Vinay talked about childrens’ deaths due to Covid. Denominators do matter.
