What a nerve Starmer has! His government is causing a crisis in the care sector by removing visas for overseas workers + job losses in many sectors including struggling local authorities by increasing employer NI costs. Scotland has the best performing NHS & lowest child poverty tx to SNP.
John Swinney 'insulting Scots intelligence' with independence plan, says Keir Starmer

Hearing that the petition agst digital ID has reached 2 million signatures. I don’t know who is advising Keir Starmer but he is out of tune with the public mood on so many things. Anxiety over Big Brother &billionaire tech bros capturing our data far outweighs concerns about illegal migrants.

I am very sorry to hear of the death of Ming Campbell. He was a formidable, and courteous political leader who served the people of NE Fife with devotion, and was a strong voice for establishing the Scottish Parliament.

My sympathy to the LibDems and to his family.
Former Lib Dem leader Sir Menzies Campbell dies aged 84
Sir Menzies led the Liberal Democrats from 2006 to 2007 and was the MP for North East Fife at Westminster for 28 years.

The Government has revealed plans for a new mandatory digital ID. It’s invasive and could mean millions of people unable to go about their daily lives. Right now it's just an idea - we need to stop it becoming a reality. Join me and sign the petition now! you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/re...
Reject plans for a mandatory BritCard (digital ID)
Sir Keir Starmer is considering a mandatory digital ID scheme called “BritCard” that would make us all reliant on a digital pass to go about our daily lives. Mandatory digital IDs give the state enor...

Liberation’s main argument is that the Supreme Court judgement clearly indicates we are non-self-governing, plus the various refusals of a fresh vote after 2016 when democracy would demand it.
To most outsiders who come to live here and get to know us and like the place, it’s clear that we are a colony.
Sums it up!
Brexit is the toxic epicentre of the political shitshow we now have to endure. It promoted idiocy and deceit, endorsed racism, divided us, made us poorer, weaker, less safe and less sane. It’s belittled the country, killed the Tory party and given birth to Reform.
A relentless klaxon of failure.
What a gargantuan mess. #Brexit
SNP delivering for Scotland! Well done Kate Forbes in securing this!👏
Looking at images of Clara I can’t say she’s beautiful. Handsome maybe?
Poland is re-arming and spending a lot on defence. Not a paper tiger then?
Worrying
NATO has officially invoked Article 4 at Poland’s request following the Russian drone incursion.

This is significant.
Despite his role supporting a referendum for a Scottish Parliament in 1997, I’ve never quite forgiven Mandelson for saying he was ‘intensely relaxed about people becoming filthy rich’ because we can’t all become ‘filthy rich’ can we? Now his penchant for the elite filthy rich is coming home to bite.

Hebrew Channel 14 reports the Doha strikes were executed by 10 Israeli warplanes flying a 1,800 km route through Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia before releasing 10 missiles at the Hamas delegation’s meeting site.
It was all pre-planned! Open source data shows UK and US refueling aircraft.
With support from the SNP led Scottish Government and part of its 10 year plan to support social enterprises. Delivering for Scotland.
The Bonnie Broukit Bairn could be an anthem for our times, it laments the neglect of the earth.
Good article but what a worry🫨

Wonderful news. Delivering for Scotland
10 years since the Borders Railway reopened - longest in the UK for over a century.

Cheaper travel with no more peak rail fares.

New funding to electrify the Borders, Fife and suburban Glasgow routes - and to buy new, modern trains.

That’s the SNP delivering for Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
But not causing support for independence to decline.
Starmer sacked Murray for a reason. What was it? The Scotland job is a minor position in the Cabinet. He could have left it alone. So why sack Murray? It can only be that Starmer is fearful of support for independence not falling and wanted somebody who could attack the indy movement better.
Record View says the former Scottish Secretary had a tough job - but did it well.
Sacking Ian Murray was a move Keir Starmer did not need to make
