Trying to do a personal challenge this month that I’ve decided on calling meowtober.

Essentially the challenge is I want to explore niche or less common music especially the more vibey stuff through a series of DJ sets.

With that said, send me music!! I’m curious to see what people like!

I would cry then proceed to beat you up with love and affection the second you reappear.

(Don’t vanish please, I know we don’t talk much but just know that I love you regardless. My DMs are always open if you ever need anything or just want to talk.)

A print commission for @mcbadassinc.com! All he asked was a cute Kemono style, but I can't just do that! Taking a break after getting skuffed up from some basketball or beach volleyball, with a Fuzzy Naval in hand, and a shy wave, he beckons you to join him on a game! And later that night, a rave!
A cartoon cat in Kemono style sitting on a sofa with a Fuzzy Naval drink in hand. He smiles and waves coyly.

How did @vrchat.com change your life?

Am genuinely honest to hear about it.

I can't catch all of you in game at the same time to find you all to ask.

What did the start end current of your journey end up like?

Again I apologize for heavily oversimplifying these complex matters.

At the end of the day I'd like to just find a way for victims to get the justice they deserve.

Hopefully, by furthering the use of these tools we not only promote a safer game, but also prevent people from continuing to abuse.
mcbadassinc.com
The end goal of this of course being, word is spread about said bad user. At which point they will either change and be on their best behavior or will continue their bad behavior until they are either marked as nuisance or the VRC mod team has collected enough evidence to take appropriate action.
mcbadassinc.com
Ideally, once leadership teams investigate the issue, the user is removed whether the vote kick passed or not.

However, that investigation phase will be critical to informing groups who may not be aware of said individuals and will also give them the "tools" they need to make an informed decision.
mcbadassinc.com
Again, if the nuisance system is currently 1:1 between group mod and user mod, then in my mind that means more users need to take self-mod action against those people.

This hopefully help leadership teams better identify the "bad apples", but also will notify others that this user might be bad.
mcbadassinc.com
It is absolutely a very difficult issue to address especially for leaders hearing of these individuals from a third party.

Ideally, at least in my mind, anytime one of these individuals joins a vote-to-kick is placed. It may not be effective but the hope is that it will count against them.
mcbadassinc.com
It's hard to say for certain however, I do believe that as a whole we may at least have some power in getting these individuals removed from our communities.

Especially if the self-moderation tools provided to us are used against these individuals.
mcbadassinc.com
I do not wish to put words in the mouth of victims however, I would like to believe that we have a common goal of getting abusers removed from the platform.

With a lack of hard evidence I imagine that it is somewhat difficult to engage the VRChat moderation team to take action.
mcbadassinc.com
One issue I see with both of these scenarios is they can sometimes be seen from an objective point of view.

Victims of genuine abuse/harm from others can, unfortunately, be disregarded or ignored. Especially if that victim has difficulties producing any kind of hard evidence against the abuser.
mcbadassinc.com
I apologize as I am heavily oversimplifying these matters, but in short I feel you have either:

A. Individuals quarreling over something seemingly trivial, but no physical harm/abusive behavior took place.
or
B. Individuals that are genuinely concerned over the health and safety of others.
mcbadassinc.com
Yeah, I agree. There seems to be a lot more publicity around conflicts between individuals to where one or maybe even both parties cannot even stand the thought of being in the same room.

I suppose this is human nature but I feel even this can be split into two categories in the overarching topic.

Thank you to everyone who has been interacting with this post.

It really does mean a lot to see people care about the VRChat community and I cannot wait to see if anyone else has any thoughts on the matter.

In the meantime though, I would like to prompt one more discussion on the topic.
