TVC tiktok actually being entertaining. Video about secretly loving the one character everyone in the fandom seems to hate, all the comments are "I'll defend loving Armand, the only character I hate is MARIUS of course." The OP was extremely obviously talking about Marius 😂

It just occured to me that I never did my whole little research/design thing for The Vampire Armand, since it was the inspo. Anyway, here is a quick alternate one based on a different painting (of the many, many, many) referenced in that book, dark gift scene.

I made some Lives of the Mayfair Witches covers to match my TVC set- I've been passively poking at that project for like six months and kept hitting dead ends, but here they are! The Lasher one may get blurred if your content settings aren't adjusted.

Stumbled on a photo of another important LA character; I went to a few parties at a house in the Hollywood Hills thrown by a TV producer which were super fun and chill when I lived there, and the "host" of the parties was this dog, iirc named King Louis. Obviously the main feature of all parties!

Found the pic of the house and some of the sweet boy- I hope he had the best retirement at my next door neighbor's, like I said he eventually got taken inside and got to be an indoor cat again.

Come home to find local Known Drifter in front of my front porch like "oh shit, are you- well, damn, I thought I had the house to myself!" Five people think this is "their cat" but they're really a con artist. I'm always worried they're going to get injured one day! Once they left me a dead bird, ew

For people who know more about either Wicked or music than me: is the key changed for As Long as You're Mine in the movie, or are they just singing it stylistically different, or am I insane?

On November 20th 2022 I started watching Interview with the Vampire because apparently days prior I was overwhelmed with I need to read Mad Men fanfiction that I could not find, so I got AMC to rewatch the show. I also reflected on my taste in media in a way that is kinda funny given what it led to!

I mentioned the Anne Rice Funeral Merch, and I have a mug and some magnets as well, but the candle and handkerchief here are part of it! The Anne Rice shelf is now two shelves, even without the actual duplicates, and I will probably reconfigure it... somehow. There's also a framed Lestat above it.

Oh my god I just realized that teenagers trying to read the books based on the show don't know what the show changed because the movie came out like fifteen years before they were born. I saw a tiktok comment section and was like, "why are they lying about not knowing- OH MY GOD!"

I must admit here: I did write a Marius/Pandora manifesto on Tumblr. It's not the best ship, not my favorite ship, but it is the most underrated ship because not enough people read Pandora's book to find out that it's fucking amazing. And they're SO mean to each other it's GREAT.

The funniest thing about where I work is unfortunately too specific to my company- but it's so funny. It jumpscares me constantly. I put on a video training this morning and didn't realize it was basically 20 minutes straight of [the thing] and I'm losing my mind.

I swapped my tumblr to mckatkat, so here is the lore: my best friend used to do these runs of improvised nicknames in voicemail messages and things, and one of them included "Kat McKatKat." I am not Scottish; my dad really wishes he were Scottish, like, a lot a lot, it's a big thing, so extra funny!

I have many Wicked thoughts (mostly good) but they certainly did capture the discomfort of being in a room thick with awkward sexual tension while two actors spit-sing in each other's faces for As Long As You're Mine. I was giggling and half covering my face exactly like I have while seeing it live!
