I’m incredibly proud to have served as co-lead counsel in the case that led to an $88 million settlement on behalf of the victims of the Mother Emanuel AME Church shooting. This was more than a legal victory. It was a moment of accountability. I will always be honored to have played a part in it.
When Bert was killed most people ran away from him. I ran to him. I could see the truth when no one else could. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about Bert. Clearing his name for his children will forever be one of the most important things I have done in a courtroom.
Grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Florence County Democratic Party Candidate Forum! It was a pleasure connecting with local residents, discussing key issues facing South Carolina, and meeting fellow Democratic candidates. Looking forward to the road ahead! @flotowndemocrats
Great evening in Orangeburg at our campaign sponsored dinner and meet & greet with local community leaders. Thank you to Tyrone Dash of D&B Fried Fish for the incredible food and warm hospitality. South Carolina’s future is built around conversations like these: honest, local, and full of heart.
Jadeveon Clowney was arrested, facing charges of failure to identify. Failure to Identify is not a crime in South Carolina for which your freedom can be taken from you. Your freedom is my freedom, as mine is yours. We are all in this together and we all want the same thing… mainly freedom.
Our hearts are with South Carolina State University and the Bulldog family. I extend my deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and hold the injured, and the SCSU community in my prayers. I am grateful to first responders, campus officials, and law enforcement for their rapid response.
Enjoyed my interview with the South Carolina Policy Council, established as an independent, private, non-partisan research organization with a mission to promote the principles of limited government, free enterprise, and individual liberty and responsibility in South Carolina.
The truth train is on the tracks and on the move. During the first two weeks of next month we will be making stops in Florence, Columbia, Orangeburg, Greenville, Myrtle Beach and Darlington to spread the truth about how the political establishment has caused direct economic harm to we the people.
Meet “Covey” aka Snoopy. He is an English Cocker Spaniel who has been by my side since he was 8 weeks old. Bird hunting with him feeds my soul in a way that is hard to put into words.
Great fundraiser set for Saturday. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Thank you for all the support. The easy way to donate is to hit the button. Thanks in advance!
Found a great deal of energy in Kingstree, SC on Saturday. Today our campaign heads to Georgetown to meet local Democrats and talk about the critical issues facing South Carolina.
On this day twenty-four years ago, America suffered her worst form of loss – human loss. My thoughts and prayers on this day are for the families of the nearly 3,000 Americans who lost their lives during the September 11 attacks.
This week our campaign begins a four-stop swing through the Pee Dee and lowcountry. A big thank you to Stacy Mars, Greenville County Democratic Party Chair. The Greenville Democrats put on a great event Saturday. Great energy and such a welcoming and supportive group. The Big Blue BBQ was great!
