Thanks everyone who came to the premier of KNOW ME at the @mdff.bsky.social (Melbourne Documentary Film Festival) last Sunday afternoon. There were tears, heart warming embraces, reunions too and discussion that flowed from Cinema Nova's foyer onto a nearby pub and into the evening back home.

First time seeing Temple Lament on the big screen @mdff.bsky.social Good to see the space and the detail in the film, to have a live audience, to discuss the movie at the Q&A with 3CR's Annie McLaughlin, and the young director of Verge Collection, another of the films at the session. Fun time.

Melbourne's iconic Nicholas Building gets its own documentary.,

The Nicholas Building screens at Melbourne Documentary Film Festival.

The Nicholas Building - FilmInk
The film’s contents may lack the polish or shape, but its tactility – its sounds, colours and characters – are what makes The Nicholas Building priceless.

Not long back from Whoopee Blues, first night in cinema @mdff.bsky.social A real education for me as relative newcomer to Melbourne on the wild 70s in old Prahran. Crazy iterations of the eclectic band, with a side of Circus Oz. Very impressed that Jim Conway played harp with Brownie McGee.
