Democrat running for Colorado Attorney General | Seeking justice without fear or favor to protect our rights and keep communities safe. Ultrarunner and dad.
On Presidents Day, we honor the leaders who shaped this nation and understood that public office is a responsibility, not a reward. The strongest presidents knew the rule of law must apply to everyone and that the Constitution comes first. That standard should guide us not only today, but every day.

Business owners, public health providers, and community leaders came together at Salon Madrid in Commerce City to collaborate on building a better future for Colorado. Honored to be there and speak with everyone who came out to this great event.

I'm a prosecutor, not a politician. In order to take on the Trump Administration, you need courtroom experience. I've spent 28 years fighting for the people, and I won't back down as Colorado's next Attorney General.

This Black History Month, we celebrate the history, resilience, and leadership of the Black community. The contributions of Black Coloradans have strengthened our state in countless ways, and I’m proud to recognize that legacy today and always.

🚨Today I joined other national legal leaders asking the court to hold ICE accountable for their deadly enforcement surge in Minnesota. Federal agents must follow the law - and when they break it, there must be accountability. #StandForJustice#RuleOfLaw

Beyond grateful to have the endorsement of former State Rep Joe Salazar. He has relentlessly stood up for Coloradans and held powerful interests accountable without backing down. Thank you, Joe, for the support!

I met with community members in Durango because of their concerns about the recent actions by ICE in their community. We covered the role of ICE, their legal authority, the protections and rights of immigrants, how to protest safely, and the authority of local law enforcement and state prosecutors.

It is great to be back in La Plata County. Given some of the recent incidents here with ICE, I led an important discussion about the role of ICE, legal protections for immigrants, First Amendment rights of protestors, and local law enforcement’s authority in these situations.

When it comes to the Attorney General, courtroom experience matters. I fell in love with the rule of law through 28 years in the courtroom, holding violent offenders accountable, protecting victims, and keeping communities safe.

January 6 was a violent assault on our democracy and the rule of law. As Attorney General, my responsibility is clear: defend the Constitution, enforce the law without fear or favor, and hold accountable anyone who threatens our democratic system.

Thank you to my friends at @legalafmtn.bsky.social for having me on their podcast. I appreciated the opportunity to talk about what it means to serve as the people’s lawyer and how I plan to stand up for Coloradans across our state.

As this new year begins, I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself and share what guides my commitment to public service and this campaign. Have Questions? Leave them below!

New Year’s Eve should be about celebration and renewal, not regret. As a Dad, I think about every family waiting for their loved ones to come home safely tonight. Make a plan, choose a safe ride, and have a Happy New Year!

As today’s rally comes to a close, the work to protect NCAR is just beginning. Threatening its future puts public safety at risk. As Colorado’s next Attorney General, I will continue standing up for NCAR and for the institutions that help protect lives and communities every day.

One of the most meaningful parts of this work is meeting people from communities across Colorado and hearing directly about what matters most to them. Those perspectives shape how I approach this work and the responsibility of serving the entire state.

Prosecuting violent crime, handling complex cases, and upholding the rule of law is serious work. I have spent my career across Colorado handling the most serious cases our system faces. Colorado deserves an attorney general with courtroom experience and a proven record of enforcing the law.

Honored to have served as the keynote speaker for El Comité de Longmont’s 45th Anniversary Celebration. Immigrants are not just part of our community; they are a part of this country’s past, present, and future. As Colorado’s next AG, I will continue to stand up for the rights of all Coloradans.

Grateful for conversations like this. Listening and engaging directly with people across Colorado is how trust is built, and as Colorado’s next Attorney General, that same approach will guide this work.

The holiday season is upon us! Great to see so many friends (and donated toys!) at the annual Tebo family holiday party. Congressman Joe Neguse and Governor Jared Polis provided wonderful remarks. Much thanks to the Tebo family for bringing people together!
