Pointing out what is true and false is imperative. We also need to not constantly feed ourselves with negative news, but take care of ourselves. Stay grounded. It is like the strong wind ripping around you. Can you be the strong tree that will withstand the weather and be a light to others?

Yes, like I said in previous comments that ideliveted hundreds of babies whose mothere took Tylenol. No autism! Thank you for what you do! My patients look up to me and look to me for advice. I will speak the truth. Respect is earned. Integrity is what we demonstrate days in and days out.

I know. Drs. Nancy Klimas and Raymond Perrin's research also lost the NIH funding. But looks like they have the fund to restart again to study if lymphatic drainage can help treat people with ME and LC! Exciting.

I see more autism happening in families with it or someone who has traits of it but not formally diagnosed. This is another complicated medical issue. Don't people like to simplify things and blame them on a vaccine or a drug? I would say, "Not so fast."

I delivered hundreds of babies before I retired. None of them are autistic and their mothers have used Tylenol. If the prevalence of autism is as high as he and his ally said, then what they said was not true. It is a misinformation.

I don't know either. One can only hope. There will be no life if we have no hope. I will definitely speak up and condemn him if he does anything harmful to the communities I serve.

MEAction, if you do not know, has been trying to engage RFK Jr. to fund long COVID research. Their efforts may be paying off. Who knows?

Yes, it is very obvious by now. In the news reporting, he gathered all scientists to talk about long COVID. The meeting alone in the clips of the PBS news was neutral. Will RFK Jr. say anything outrageous later? May be. Before he makes his next move, I remain hopeful.

By the end of this year, I will have at least 10 patients going into remission. They are or will live a normal life. Last year I had 2. This gives me hope. What I need is the medical community to come around and understand that there are ways to get people out of ME and Long COVID.

Thank you for your comments. I may be naive, but always optimistic. That is much needed, being the doctor of patients who have lost hope. RFK Jr is correct that we have spent $1.5 b in research that came up with no answers because the answer is individualized and not straightforward.

He does! I agree with you. But many MAHA people do not even believe the existence of COVID. The fact that he mentions it without disproving it at this point is still helpful.

Same here. All I am saying is I welcome talks and research funding. If RFK Jr. says or does anything wrong, I will still condemn him, just like anyone ir anything else.

May be or may be not. I disagree with almost everything RFK Jr. stands for or belief. But I have to admit that sugar and food coloring are bad, especially for ME, Long COVID and MCAS. Most things are not so black and white, like we want to believe.

Let's find out. The sad thing is that long COVID and ME sufferers are so desperate that they are willing to try almost anything. This is not safe anyway what is going on now.

The only way out of this mess is more research funding regardless of who is in the White House. More research can confirm if findings are true, just like how we debunked the GET nonsense. Remember research should not be partisan. Sound research should be reproducible.

There are always bad players in research fabricating data, such as autism and MMR vaccine and the GET nonsense. If we don't fund more research and rely on only small case studies like right now, people are confused and will try high-risk treatments should be.
