Yesterday, @who.int released its first-ever guideline on the use of GLP-1 therapies for adults living with obesity. This milestone follows the inclusion of GLP-1 medicines in the Essential Medicines List for managing type 2 diabetes in high-risk groups.

#RSV causes 100,000 child deaths yearly — almost entirely in LMICs. On #WPD, MPP calls for urgent action to make prevention tools like #nirsevimab and #clesrovimab widely accessible, esp. in LMICs.
