I miss the 360 and PS3 days when you got a game and it had a piss yellow or brown tint to it. When you turned that on and saw that, you knew it was a banger.

Honestly, the Game Pass price hike just shows what's wrong with subscription services. And this isn't unique to Game Pass.

I feel that Subscription services are ruining a lot of different industries. Video games, movies, music, etc. Is this all worth it in the end?

Long story short, companies should still offer physical copies of the games they make for those that want them.

If the answer is “because it costs too much”, I can argue that any money lost on physical sales is only a drop in the bucket.

There are people out there that only buy physical releases. So an all digital future will alienate them and potentially make them no sales anymore.

That’s just an example number for the ridiculous sales difference.

But as things stand, I don’t see why publishers and platforms can’t make at least a limited number of physicals versions for games.

So while the video game market has digital sales far outweighing physical now, what I don’t understand is why publishers and market leaders are trying to go all digital.

I understand “because it costs far less for a digital sale”, but the ratio is like 100 digital to 1 physical.

After a month or 2 of not playing Expedition 33, I have finally restarted my playthrough and got to Act II yesterday lol. Game is already really great, looking forward to seeing more!
