This is chapter 6 page 21 of my webcomic Laserwing. I picked it to show off because the dialogue is funny and most of the current main characters are present. Josh and Marjolaine, two magic goths with grim reaper scythes, are fighting. "You can't just--" "I don't need your permission to--" "Yes you do--" "If you would just--" "We're not supposed" "I thought we were--" "Everybody wants" "Well what do YOU--" A small distance away, Matt and Tony, who are nerds, watch the fight awkwardly. "Wow, man," says Matt. "Huh." responds Tony. The fight continues. "You're so pretentious!" "Sorry for having taste!" "Blink is real punk!" "BLINK IS POP PUNK" "Let's just...go." Matt suggests. "Yeah, okay." Tony mutters. The two descend from the sky, because everyone in this scene was hovering about 50 feet in the air above a suburban mountain town. Matt has rocket boots and Tony's got magic wings. Josh and Mar are levitating without a visual tool they're just using regular magic. Well anyways Josh and Mar continue fighting in the sky while Matt and Tony land. Matt takes off his cool aviator shades. "Lets's get food." "Oh, they're here," Tony says while gazing at the sky. He's powering down, his wings disappear and his anime hair turns into regular hair. "Wait, what?" Matt responds, and the page ends. This is a showcase of all the protagonists of 'Rane Story,' an unwritten comic that shares a universe and characters with Laserwing. They exist to showcase worldbuilding and weird aliens. There are 18 characters crammed together in this picture and I'm sorry but we don't have enough character space to describe them. They're all students at a high school, except for their teacher over in the corner. The kids are all wearing uniforms, which consist of a pale yellow button-down shirt and burgundy tie, and either a pink sweater or burgundy blazer, which the students can choose between. Certain characters with wings have a modified shirt and no outerwear. The teacher wears a purple cardigan but that's not a uniform that's just her. These characters are all either elves with weird skin and hair colors, or a variety of weird four-eyed furries. They all have names and lore and full designs but here they're all smushed together and you can barely see them. It's a sea of heads. The important characters are up at the top. Floating at the top of the pile are Crassa, a boy who looks ALMOST human aside from the little pink triangle marks on his face and the tree branches growing out of his head like horns. He is tugging his collar and lovingly embracing Rane, who is a dragon. Like yeah she's a big blue dragon with four orange eyes, and curly yellow horns, and inexplicable human hair. Just a brown human shoulder-length bob on a dragon. She has a humanoid form but she's in dragon mode for this picture because it's funny. Crassa is a tree person and Rane is a dragon person and Rane Story is about them falling in love while a bunch of aliens explain their lore. Next up: Gijinka Tales of Alpha Sapphire This was the final championship art I did for a run of Pokemon Sapphire. I normally draw my Pokemon in gijinka (human) form but for the final congratulations (imagine it being said like at the end of Smash Bros story mode) they're in normal form. I'm there in the lower right, making a victory fist pump. I dressed myself in a purple-ish version of May's player character outfit in Ruby/Sapphire. Behind me are my championship team: Hanna the Spinda (blobby purple bear with spiral eyes, mine has little ribbons under her ears) Ponderous the Grumpig (purple psychic pig, mine wears a beanie and is holding the Blue Orb) Ambience the Exploud (giant purple vuvuzela kaiju, mine is a little more feminine than the standard) Eryn the Breloom (weird mushroom bird...punchmonster...kangaroo...I can't explain these. mine has a fluffier neck frill than usual) Becky the Blaziken (almost-humanoid karate chicken, mine puts her hair up in a ponytail) Shina the Nincada (it's a cicada but with a ninja cosplay for an exoskeleton, mine has blue eyes when they're normally red) They're all cheering and making victory poses because we beat the game. Three living plush creatures trot across a checkerboard field with candy trees in the background. From left to right - Miranda, Mistral, Mirelle. I bought them on Gaia Online, probably in like 2005, and revamped them in 2024. They're living plush dragon thingies, with fluffy tails and little tufts of hair on their foreheads. They've got featherlike ears and button eyes. I drew them with stiff limbs on hinges, like some teddy bears have. They're all in soft autumn colors; Miranda is black, Mistral is red, Mirelle is yellow. The setting they're running through isn't very well concieved at the moment but is intended to be a location in my personal comfort world, Princessentia. Whenever I buy adoptables they go to Princessentia which I swear someday I'll do real worldbuilding for. The candy forest is some part of Candinfanta, an island for specifically things I would've liked as a little kid.

A quick speedpaint of my character Roldan, the Togekiss gijinka. Togekiss is a Pokemon that is sort of a cartoony bird but with weird flesh wings and no nose. Roldan is a human representation of one. He's a thin pale older man with a spiky silver mullet, with red and blue tips and matching eyebrows. He's wearing a baggy blue cardigan with a red triangle pattern over a red tank top with a blue triangle graphic. His denim jeans are frayed at the bottom. His converse-style shoes are red and blue. He's sitting cross-legged, hovering in the air over the ocean with one arm outstretched and firing purple energy at a Tentacool (jellyfish Pokemon) in the foreground. The background is very abstract and plain, just blue water against a dark starless night sky.

say hello to PallaPalla the Parasect gijinka, she's a special snowflake but for specific reasons
PallaPalla, female, Lonely nature, thoroughly cunning Paras, Parasect Formerly a benchwarmer who got to accompany the Dan family as their Cut user. She was welcomed in as part of the family, and the attention makes her a little hyper. Took over cut duties from Adannaya, now they're besties. Her modern form is a dual resurrection of the Paras I caught and a shiny that got away. This is a character sheet for PallaPalla, a gijinka of the Pokemon Paras and Parasect, which are cicadas infected with cordyceps mushrooms. PallaPalla is a reference to a Sailor Moon character of the same name. Unlike most Paras(ect) who have red mushrooms, Palla has blue mushrooms. PallaPalla's gijinka forms are pale-skinned young adult women with big round light blue eyes and symmetrical beauty marks under each eye. Her human forms are similar, with the 'Parasect' form simply looking a little taller than the 'Paras' form and with a different style of coat. They are both wearing their blue hair up in a bun with yellow ribbons on each side. They have mushroom earrings and orange coats over a skintight blue and yellow outfit. The Paras form's leggings have round yellow spots on them, while the Parasect form's leggings have long oval spots. Paras and Parasect are one of the 'just gets bigger' evolution lines, so Palla's two forms being similar suits the species.

This is a colored sketch of Adannaya, who is a Beedrill gijinka. That means she's a human in a yellow dress with black trim, layered over an underdress in the light gray color of a Beedrill's wings. Her hair is short and blonde but with a streak of grey in one bang. She wears glasses with red lenses, like a Beedrill's eyes, but her actual eyes are silver. She is middle-aged, with some stress lines around her mouth and brow.

they aren't even my favorite toxic couple but they're the ones I'm hoping I can write compellingly when I get to their focus
A quick colored sketch of two OCs of mine. Lance is a perfectly generic white male, with short brown hair and a red sweater. He's nervously rubbing the back of his head while looking at Marina, a weird pale girl with pointy fingers and mischief eyes. The lower half of her hair is blue but all of it is a bit grey and washed out, as is her complexion. She's got one gnarled witch claw embracing Lance's arm while the other seems to be reaching for his neck. A quick colored sketch of two OCs of mine. Lance and Marina are older now, these young adult designs are generally how they look in my webcomic Laserwing. Lance is resting his arms on the backgroundless void, with his right hand pressed against his chin. Marina has her arm wrapped around his left arm, and she's resting her head on his shoulder. Marina looks up and smiles but Lance looks down at her with a furrowed brow. That's kind of always how he looks but it's sometimes unclear if it's Marina's fault that he's always so stressed out.

This is colored and shaded fanart for Wizardess Heart, a mobile game where you date wizard boys. Three of the dateable wizards are in front of a background that vaguely looks like the WH app's user interface. Randy, a pink-haired wizard boy, grins and clasps his hands on Klaus, a blonde wizard boy. Klaus is miserable and trying to push Randy away. On Randy's shoulders, his familiar Taffy (a stuffed animal that's not quite a bear or a bunny) sits and pats Klaus on the head. On Klaus's other side, Sigurd, a purple-haired wizard boy, grins while holding up a steamy mug of coffee. For context: Klaus has a stick up his ass at all times forever. Randy is his school rival, a very unserious person. Randy thinks they're friends, but Klaus hates Randy because he killed their mutual friend, who is also named Randy. Randy also believes he killed Randy, but he still thinks Klaus is his friend. Sigurd is Klaus's cousin, who likes to mess with Klaus. Klaus hates the smell of coffee, which Sigurd habitually drinks. Klaus is the school prefect and depending on what storyline you're in, either Randy or Sigurd (or neither) could be his assistant.

Spontaneously felt like launching something into the void. Free #adoptable for the first person to reply.

Some #art of my #pokemon #gijinka characters in #kigurumi

That's enough hashtags I think. Look at my little lads.
A full color chibi of Caesar, a Venusaur gijinka, wearing a Venusaur kigurumi. Recursive pajamas. Venusaur is the big dinosaur toad with the giant rafflesia flower on its back. Basically it's a kid with green and pink hair and freckles and a little fang, wearing full body pajamas (with a monster face hood) in green with spots, with a floppy giant flower and leaves sewn onto the pajama butt. A full color chibi of Rex, a Charmander gijinka, wearing a Marowak kigurumi. Rex's dad is a Marowak. Charmander is one of those little red baby dragons with the fire tail, Marowak is one of the dusty brown lizards with the skull faces. Essentially this is a kid with little fangs, wearing brown full body pajamas with a skull-like hood and a little spiked tail. He's got a little spurt of fire breath coming from his mouth, and he's holding up what appears to be a big femur bone of unknown species. This is a full color chibi of Tortue, a Squirtle gijinka, wearing a Meowth kigurumi. Tortue is a Ditto-clone of his dad but the mom who raised him is a Meowth, which is why he gets these pajamas. Squirtles are just blue turtles with long curly tails, Meowths are just beige cats with coins on their heads. So basically this is a blue-haired kid in tan full body pajamas with cat ears and whiskers on the hood. The kigu has the distinctive gold Meowth coin and the long thin curly tail. Tortue is making little kitty cat paws and licking one hand like a cat.

doing a quick #art last night felt good so here's another one of my less drawn characters
This is a green on white (but uncolored) sketch of Kumi, one of my OCs. Kumi is an Uskanin, which is a four-eyed alien rabbit person with bat wings, horns, shoulder spikes, and tiger stripes. Kumi in particular is of the Kuricalanin Uskanin, which means he has straight green conical horns that go straight up. His hair is short and curly, and his bunny ears are straight and pointy, with markings that look a bit like the eyespots on a moth's wings. He is wearing a vaguely Asian top with a vaguely ginkgo-like pattern. He's scowling at the viewer because he wants to look tough.

I think it's funny that in all well-reasoned Mario timeline theories we all just kind of accept that Cranky Kong used to kidnap human women. Like we are unclear on DK being his son or grandson and all the humans involved are ?????? but Cranky, in his youth, absolutely just ran off with ladies.

lil bedtime #art of one of my stupid aliens
A green-on-white (but uncolored) bust sketch of Fortu, one of my weird alien OCs. Fortu is a Trevixie, a four-eyed furry alien with red panda-like traits and moth antennae. Fortu specifically is of a long-haired breed with lots of fluff coming off his ears. His hair is short and fluffy on top but with a long braid at the bottom. He's wearing a dark jacket and darker skintight undersuit, and he's just sort of glancing toward the viewer with a bland smile. I think this isn't a super great drawing of him but I just felt like doing something quick.

Fell back into #Mabinogi for a while, so here's commemorative #art of my #OC Elimina. They made the style tab free so I did a lil dressup. Perfect for furiously cooking custards.

It has a little green apron and scarf decorated with gold accents. For the drawing I reduced a lot of the smaller details and left out the swords strapped to her hips.

I'm calling it now: 'Void Kong' is a super fake sounding name, the villain is going to turn out to be some other kind of thing and he's pretending to be a Kong for some reason.

If we actually had a void-themed kong they'd name him Blanky Kong or some shit
