It was a pleasure to work on this review with amypennay.bsky.social, gabrielcaluzzi.bsky.social, sarahcallinan.bsky.social, sarjomac.bsky.social alextorney.bsky.social, Benjamin Riordan & Amanda Cooklin.

We included over 1,200 papers and found that the majority of single-gender studies on alcohol consumption in the last decade focused on women, despite men consuming more alcohol and experiencing more harm.

Alcohol is the most commonly used drug in "drink spiking" but we rarely associate the two. So we analysed Reddit posts to explore alcohol's role in drink spiking & sexual violence.

Fantastic work led by @sarjomac.bsky.social suggesting that increased substance use is likely and how it is crucial to document effects of a changing climate on people who use AoD so that policy and services can meet future needs.
