FASCINATING video about the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere, this covers a ton of ground as far as implications for film preservation, labour, filmmaking, filmgoing, why it looks "like that." Remarkably thorough and super watchable, I was glued to it.

This is so much fun!!! I hope the originator doesn't feel bad, Frieren Looking Up is so delightful because of all the different ways artists try to "solve" a drawing like this. Some really accomplished artists struggled here! It's nice to remember some things are just hard to draw no matter what.

It would be unrealistic and a sure failure to expect to grow your own food in year one.

Today I learned about the Indian Wild Dog which is also called a Dhole, and I know it PROBABLY isn't pronounced "D-Hole" but it MIGHT be and I've chosen to let myself have this.

Final thing of the day before I go back into hiding, reopening my shop for the final time this year! all these prints and more will be available (technically the shop is open rn but I’m not telling IG that 😉.) even if you don't care about the long term health implications of getting covid, i don't get why you wouldn't wanna wear a mask at least during known high risk periods
who can afford taking 2-3 weeks off work??
& even if you CAN, why wouldn't you wanna enjoy that time off instead of suffering lol
