I read your story in OOD about Groundhog Day and it took me back in time when I was in the Canadian Army and posted at Canadian Forces Carp.

Deadline extended to 4/15. Still needing stuff in every genre. If we don’t get enough submissions, I’m gonna consider the project unviable and close after two issues but still proud of what we put out.
Hey y’all. We’re a smol, still new goth/punk/antifascist print-only zine. If you want to put your angst about this shit into art/poetry/fiction/CNF/flash/or hybrid firms, please and sit to us. We’re open til 4/1. It’s a small thing we’re doing but I hope it helps. Submission guidelines below:
Thank you, I’ll let you know when I get there. I’m trying to commit to more long-form projects.
No, just a moment of a poem. 💌
The Mixtape Review is an experimental magazine doing some exciting things with art, writing, and music. I've long held a fascination with cemeteries, and my short story, "Boo, Baby," found in The Mixtape Review's Issue 3, reflects both that fascination, and my undying preoccupation with The Smiths.
I wrote this creative non-fiction micro about a job I had years ago that nearly killed me — literally. Check out "Choking in the Walk-In Fridge," picked up by the fine folks at Chouette Magazine for their 03: Bare issue, now online at ChouetteLiterary.ca.
"HANDS, PLEASE!"

“Fats McCue and I were enjoying a humid late-June evening while tossing spoons for pike. We were lucky lads, growing up in our quiet, little town. It happened that a river ran through it,” Rick Charles wrote in the Winter 1996 issue of Ontario OUT of DOORS.

In smiling silence, we looked across the Basin into our youth. Like that buck-and-a-half plug, it was irretrievable.
