Had an inspiring and rewarding week at LSHTM doing a deep dive into the study of cancer survival. Grateful for the opportunity to learn from experts in the field and connect with others passionate about improving cancer outcomes.
So glad I stayed til the end of #SER2025 Really inspiring session on how to combine advocacy and academic research.
I had such a great time chairing this amazing session with @britshmit.bsky.social, @gregggonsalves.bsky.social, @zinzinator.bsky.social! Such inspirational people ☺️

I might even consider doing some public engagement and advocacy myself!

Fascinating day yesterday learning about US electronic health records at the Society for Epidemiologic Research Conference in Boston. Hoping the weather improves! ☔️
Thrilled to share I’ve been awarded a Wellcome Transition Fellowship 🎉

From Oct I’ll spend 6 months developing research ideas using electronic health records to study breast cancer 👩‍💻 📉

Also excited to work with the LSHTM Beyond Cancer group 🩺📊
