Do you know how many ppl want into a treatment center but there’s no room? The Canadian Center for Addictions has a 95% success rate and 51.2% of people achieved stable recovery without experiencing a single relapse. Don’t tell ppl it doesn’t work, they need more centers!

Drugs aren’t bad? On what planet? Drug Addiction is ruining lives! Providing drug rehab gives a person the opportunity to live a life not dictated by when they get the next high but instead it allows them to care for themselves, provide for their children & not be a slave to a drugs.

That’s what I’m saying, use the tax dollars to provide addicts with treatment options to break the addiction rather than supplying them with drugs that keep them addicted! Keeping them addicted to drugs doesn’t improve their lives.

And since when is ‘paying your own way’ in life a punishment? Non-criminals have to do it every day! Whether in your own home or a criminal facility, the cost of living should be borne by every individual over the age of 18 and by parents if under the age of 18.

Whether rehabilitation or punishment, it hasn’t seemed to work cuz since 1962 (total crimes=2771 per 100,000 pop) the rate has increased 49% by 2024 (5672 per)! Maybe it’s time for Canada to try having criminals pay for their own Cost of Living, just like every other non-criminal Canadian has to!
