They told me "why not take a little break and try drawing just for yourself, even just random doodles?" And that idea made me happy again.

Only problem is, it's been like 2 weeks and I haven't drawn a single thing, for projects or myself.

Realized a little while ago that the very thought of drawing was putting me into panic attacks. So my partner said it was probably cause everything I drew was for a project and I started associating art with deadlines and needing to be perfect.

That made me really sad.

it looks like my life will free up by may.... if not june, so maybe then i will be free again to draw and write. and maybe it will be more OC or other art, but the bookiedooks will always be on my mind so fingers crossed i do get free again

Fandom needs interaction to thrive, if u want to keep enjoying art, fic, edits, animations, silly little hcs, and all of that gud stuff, give some of the love back that creators pour out for you, fandom shouldn't be /content/ to mindlessly consume, let it be a dialogue of love and appreciation 🙏✨❤️

I think a big fandom shift in interacting with stuff has gone from people commenting under the created thing whether it be fic or art to people linking it in private discord groups where the person who made it will never see any positive comments left on the thing they made.
