did you know that in order to be certified as a Registered Skilled Reporter by the National Court Reporters Association, you need to pass three 5-minute skills tests at the following speeds:
- Literary at 160 WPM
- Jury Charge at 180 WPM
- Q&A at 200 WPM

i did try the 120 WPM class. i couldnt keep up at all, but it felt like i could one day. it doesnt feel like such a huge leap in difficult. wow 😮 i didnt think i'd be saying that.

they not only expand your audience to include d/Deaf and HOH ppl, they also perform better in general since they're given a special CC badge and aren't filtered out of search results looking for captioning.
