The ruling class is so inoculated from harm most of the time that they’re able to see men like Kirk as entertainers, their message as entertainment, the real and immeasurable suffering they cause as proof of talent. The reality they create shouldn’t affect them, so they weep when it does.

i didn’t take a lot of other dragoncon pics bc i was too swept up in having a blast, but i did snap these flowers and butterfly on my walk back from the train station + the cutest cardcaptor sakura cosplay 🌸💕

day 3: colette and i went and did all 4 floors of the artist alley and vendor hall! i wore my aquabats rashguard and some overalls i painted the lil bat on. this was our last day of dragoncon, so a little melancholy (it always is)!

here is the cult of the marriott carpet marching band playing the theme from ghostbusters. any group in the parade that plays music is my favorite, bc it reminds me of when the parade used to open up with a cute old lady playing bagpipes years ago.
