When the US version of Shonen jump started being sold here, I saw it in a blockbuster and got it because it had dragonball and yugioh. I happen to read the other stories in there because, might as well. One piece was one of those stories so I read everytime a new SJ issue came out every month.

I can sympathize with the old heads who say the newer stuff is ruining the lore and characters and miss old magic. But I am sorry to say, I want more hats. Might be the old tf2 part of my DNA saying that but there we are. Purely on a game level Magic is fucking fun.

I've never been a traditional high fantasy person. So that's probably why Magic has never interested me before. But now I see cool space race cars and cowboy sets and I am immediately invested in making decks around those. It's the kind of colorful mix of styles that I'm into.

I've started getting into Magic the gathering. And I had no idea it story and lore with each set. And that "hat" sets are not seen super favorably by older players because it takes those characters and puts a whacky skin on them. Which is. A shame because the hat sets are what I like the most.

Personally, I just didn't care enough to interact with every NPC multiple times. If my inventory was light, I might check them to see if they had anything worth buying while I was walking by, but didn't go out of my way to hunt down NPC's.

But all of 9's characters are good. They all have their own thing going on and it's all interesting. With the characters I've met so far anyway. I'm not super far in it yet so I'll have to see if this keeps up.

Thing. FF7 is just goofy. They even have that bald club bit. I didn't know that the first time. It's not a big scene but it's in the OG. And in my game about hope in the face of sure destruction, I appreciate the levity. 9 is funny to, but it's a bit more low key. Steiner is my favorite thing though
